Step 1:- Oiling
Oiling your hair is a major step in the hair care routine. It keeps your hair as well as scalp moist and healthy. Also, oil makes the hair strong, shiny and silky. Apply oil to your hair a night before shampoo and massage your scalp for 15-20 minutes to relax the scalp and strengthen your hair. Don’t leave the oil in hair for longer because the dust sticks easily on oily hair.
Step 2:- Shampoo and conditioning
The shampoo is done to clean the hair. It is the most important step to keep the hair healthy. Oiling before shampoo helps to make your hair shiny and smooth. Wash your hair twice a weak. Chose the brand which suits your hair type. Shampoo your hair in two rounds. In first-round, apply shampoo on the scalp to remove all the concentrated oil and dirt and second round to clean your hair completely.
After shampoo, use conditioner to the length of the hair, not on the scalp. The conditioner works as its name. It conditions the hair and provides nourishment. First, apply the conditioner, brush it gently with your hand or a wide-toothed comb to spread it along the length of your hair and wait for five minutes. Then, wash it off.
Do not wash your hair with hot water, you can use lukewarm water instead.
Step 3:- Drying Hair
After washing the hair, the next step is to dry your hair. Wipe off your hair with a soft towel gently. A blow dryer is a device that helps you to dry the hair quickly but also causes damage to the hair. So if you are not running out of time, let your hair dry in the fan or natural air. If you use the dryer, spray the heat protectant before using it and keep it away from your hair while using it.
Step 4:- Right way to comb
Combing your hair is not that big deal but it must be done in the right way. Combing carelessly and can cause a lot of hair fall. Use a wide-toothed comb as it works for all types of hair. Start brushing it from the tip and gently sort hair knots and then brush it from top to bottom. Wash the comb after every two weeks. Never brush the hair when it is wet because wet hair tends to break easily and causes damage.
Step 5:- Trimming
Trimming is also a part of the hair care routine. People believe that trimming helps hair growth but that is not how it works. It is the root from where the hair grows, not from the tip. It helps to remove the damaged hair, breakage and split ends and makes your hair voluminous and healthy.
Step 6:- Using heat serum before using styling tools
Hair Styling tools damage our hair and make it freezy. But it is not possible to avoid these tools completely. So, brands have made heat serum and spray to protect your hair from heat. Before using a blow dryer, curler or straightener, use this serum or spray and keep your healthy in a stylish manner.
