What is face Serum?
The face serum is the skincare product concentrated with active ingredients that are intended to penetrate into the skin with the goal that it can help focus on certain particular skin issues.
How does it work?
There are some amazing benefits of using a facial serum. It has numerous basic ingredients including Vitamin A, C, and E. Our skin has many layers, and the serum is a very fine molecule of ingredients that enters REALLY well into the skin and treats wrinkle, pigmentation, and redness. Some of the serums are water-based and others are oil-based. Choose the one according to your skin type.

Face serums are oil-based, so some people get confused about whether it is replaced by a moisturizer. The answer is NO, You can not use a serum in place of moisturizer or a moisturizer in place of serum. Serum goes deep inside the skin layer and treats different skin concerns whereas moisturizer creates a barrier on the top of your skin.
Is it mandatory in a skincare routine?
No, it is not mandatory. It is completely your choice whether you have to use it or not. If you find fine lines, dark spots, redness, tanning, and luster on your skin then you should use serum according to your skin problem. You don’t need to use it if your skin is fresh, young, hydrated and even-toned.
How to apply it?
To apply serum, cleanse your face, apply toner (if you use). And after the toner, take 2-3 drops of serum and massage gently on your skin for a couple of minutes. Most of the serums are advised to apply twice a day but I would suggest you read the instruction given on bottle to know how many times you should apply it.
Let’s get to know about different types of face serums and their benefits.
